Meet Mel Carrozza
Mel Carrozza is the owner of A & T Refinishing.
Since childhood, Mel has been fascinated by the transformational power of house painting and the relative ease of renewing the vibrancy of living spaces.
Following twenty years in the hospitality industry, Mel decided to pursue a new path: painting and refinishing.
Mentoring for two years under a local master painter, Mel acquired traditional painting techniques, a solid knowledge of industry products and equipment, and a heart for customer service.
Eager to share his talents and passion more broadly, Mel opened a modest paint and cabinet shop in Ivy, Virginia. His success there led him to a new, larger facility in Charlottesville, where he operates A & T Refinishing today, serving greater central Virginia.

Tammie Getts
Tammie has over 25 years of experience in the construction and manufacturing industries working with companies such as GE Healthcare, Verizon Federal and Elgin Group.
At A & T Refinishing, Tammie focuses on accounting, cost management, operations and process development helping A & T Refinishing achieve their goal of customer satisfaction.
Outside of work, Tammie enjoys spending time with her little Yorkie, visiting Virginia’s beautiful vineyards, taking walks, painting and designing furniture and undertaking creative projects. She is deeply committed to her three adult children, her grandchildren and her husband.
Linda Bailey
Linda has over thirty years of experience in interior design working for clients in Virginia, Chicago, and New York.
She did project management for four different builders over the years- three builders in Charlottesville and one in Richmond, VA as well as designing their model homes. Linda is a former owner of a furniture and design store in Charlottesville and is well versed in all phases of interior design.
